Ambetter of Florida is moving its provider payments from Payspan to Zelis
Ambetter Health of Florida, Centene's Marketplace plans, announced on November 2 that it will pay claims through Zelis instead of Payspan. According to the notice, Centene will make the switch in phases between December and early 2027 across several lines, including Medicaid, Medicare and behavioral health, but it doesn't give the date for each plan. If you don't enroll in ZAPP Edge, the virtual card or the free ePayment Center, payments will arrive by paper check.
If your clinic bills Ambetter for ABA, choose how you want to get paid now: the ePayment Center (EFT/ERA) is the no-cost option and keeps you off paper checks.
“If you are not already enrolled with Zelis for VCC or ZAPP Edge and do not enroll in the free ePayment Center, payments will be sent by paper check through USPS.”
